New York was the shit! I saw all kinds of everything, including Law and Order being filmed a block away from Jamie's apartment. Which is in a neighborhood looking like this:

(James Bernard Marshall IV, lower right hand corner)
Anyway, I love New York and wish I could live there without being so increadibly impoverished that I'd eat my shoes. But my brother is the man for pulling it off and still owning his house in Atlanta and being a general Wall Street Bad Ass.
I spent 4 days home between getting back from New York and going to Charlottesville. Worked every day and we had a party the night after I got back. There were a lot of people and some uppity neighbors went and called TEH PO-LEECE. They said to chill out, so I chilled them out and everything was cool from there.
Charlottesville was as always, only relaxing when I slept. Spending time with my Dad and Step-mom and little brother is awkward and uncomfortable. But they show their love and support through money, so I guess I can't complain. Currently they've financed my books for school, supplies, new computer speakers, two new posters, drawers so I can actually put socks and underwear AWAY somewhere, two bedside tables, a super-secret Best Buy/Apple deal of an officially refurbished 30 gig iPod. Which is a goddamn steal at 200 dollars, and I should still have money left over.
Speaking of Best Buy; I've been working there for over a year now. Rediculous, I know. Longest single stretch of a solid job I've ever had, period. But things are getting rediculous and my 1 year raise is likely to suck, so I told my boss at my review that unless I start getting more money, I'll likely be taking my leave shortly. Even though I've been saying that to myself for the past six months.
But yes, School does officially start next Thursday. 10:30am. Old Town Portsmouth. Art History I. How fantastically lame. Luckily I'm getting that iPod early next week. I will most definately be needing the tunes and movies Mondays and especially Wednesdays where I will quite litterally be at school for 12 hours. It sucks, but I have to do it. This time, it's for serial.
